Budget JFK Airport Rent-A-Car

They are thieves. I left some expensive prescription sunglasses on the front seat. Called to lost and found and was told "we cant find them" after less than an hour after turning it in. It's impossible they would have been anywhere else, they are dishonest pieces of garbage and keep your head on a swivel when you pick up or turn in

it was very easy going in for pick up and even easier for drop off. Unfortunately they are trying to charge me for a ezzy pass that's on the windshield that was never used. I purchased an ezzy pass on the go because its $25.00 cheaper. Budget wants to charge you an extra 20 just for using there tag, NO THANK YOU! Companies like these do this type of thing because there is no law against making mistakes. The process to get back 20 dollars is exhausting and time consuming. Why? to completely discourage you from getting your money back. It reminds me of the rebates scam! Good thing I paid with the American Express! Go get them boys! I learn to accept that certain thing will always happen when it comes to over charging and it will never change. The price for the vehicle was good and they were very nice. You can't blame the workers for doing what corporate trained them to do.

Extorsion not "Budget".
I share the same experience as many reviewers. We returned the car a couple of hours after the quoted return time and had to pay an extra 150 dollars! I rented many cars and is the first time I see this huge late return penalty.
Especially since at the time of rental we asked and they had only mentioned an extra 10 dollar for "late return".
Off course it is difficult with all the trafic on Long Island to be exactly on time at the hour. They know this and do not tell you about all the conditions on purpose to steal a bit of money.
There are many other car rentals at JFK, DO NOT GO TO BUDGET!

Unfortunately they still my money and here you go with my story. I went to KFJ airport to the front desk of Budget branch and I rented Economy car for 129$ and they wrote the agreement time like this "Oct. 4th .2015 at 1:24 and return time to Hartford CT Oct. 4th 1;30 " that mean they gave me 6 minutes to return it in other city and state with 193 mills. Actually they wrote it by mistake and I return it to them in Hartford the flowing day after 2 cloak and they charge me for 237$. I spoke with them but the do not care about me. Also, I spoke with there manager via phone and asked her question " is the costumer important to you and she said YES and when I told her my story she related by the half hour that I late and I was astonished when they told me that with cold nerve and they do not consider my calling at all. they trying to convince me they were true and they said you should read the agreement clearly. But my answer was because I trust you and I am traveler guy and I rent many cars from many agencies. Who in the earth going to read the agreement after a 14 hours trip specially when he/she took a car from a company he/she thought it has a good reputation and they do not think to still his/her money.
I DO NOT RENT A CAR FROM THIS COMPANY ANY MORE. I NEED FROM ANY ONE READ MY COMENT TO AVOID THIS COMPANY BECAUSE I AM A COSTUMER AND THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT MY CASE.
I AM STUDENT. THEY PUT ME IN BAD SITUATION AFTER THE TOOK MY MONEY.

Booked a mini van for a week, arrived at Budget office and was served in a perfectly good time, 5 to 10 minute wait max. The lady who served me, Denise, was excellent and within 20 mins I had my mini van. No hassles or drama. Return was equally painless. Had worried after reading so many bad reviews but all I can say is MY experience was totally okay. Only issue was a service due light came on a few days in but it didn't affect me in any other way(hence not the full 5 stars).
