My kids have been taking karate classes at Blue Life Karate for many years now and they love the new location at 1882 Springfield Avenue. The space is bright and well-lit with plenty of seating for the parents to watch the karate classes and parking in the back. Shihan Durand Howard is an excellent karate instructor and make the classes fun for the kids, but also serious enough for them to learn some very useful martial arts skills and life skills such as discipline and focus. I highly recommend Blue Life Karate for both boys and girls.

My kids have been taking lessons at Blue Life for 5 years. The lessons have done wonders for their self-esteem, confidence and athletic ability. The program is very well designed and they feel right at home from the moment they enter the school. I especially recommend the program for young girls to teach them confidence and self defense.
