Dr. G is the BEST!! ALWAYS available and always makes you feel at ease. Explains every step in detail so no surprises. Dr. G and his staff have been a pleasure to work with and I wish more doctors ran their practice this way. Dr. Gorkowitz is an awesome orthodontist. He was always on time, in three years, we never waited. Dr. G took the time to explain the treatment to my daughter so that she never had any fear while he was working on her teeth. Our family started with Dr. Gorkowitz over three years ago with our eldest daughter upon the recommendation of our family dentist. She required a lengthy treatment plan (top braces on to correct the underbite, off to let her teeth come in, and then full back on to straighten them).

Dr. Gorkowitz was thorough in his explanation of why he wanted to treat our daughter this way, in tandem with our dentist (along with how her jaw grew, some teeth pulled and her teeth dropped into place). I can't convey just how beautiful her smile looks at this point She's just about finished and will get her braces off in by Christmas. Truly wonderful.

Our second daughter started her braces last week. With the same thorough explanation of his treatment plan for this child, Dr. Gorkowitz was also immediately available when one of the brackets hurt later that evening. He readily offers his cell phone for emergencies and has met us after hours at the Livingston office to help with loose or painful spots with both kids.

His receptionist Tricia is awesome, and they are happy to complete all insurance paperwork for you. They also offer payment plans and direct debit from your bank account. I've never once had to wait more than five minutes for an appointment and there are evening and Sunday slots to be had.

I heartily recommend Bernie Gorkowitz without hesitation.

Dr. G (as we call him) is a phenomenal orthodontist. My boys are never nervous or hesitant about their visits. Dr. G engages them and makes them feel at ease. He has a great rapport with patients and parents.

Other than Dr. Gorkowitz' personality, what I liked most upon meeting him years ago was that his explanation of dental care, procedures, upkeep and cleaning is very clear. My boys understood all instructions and were able to follow and not be confused. Other orthodontists I met with prior to Dr. G were not as clear. Also, Dr. Gorkowitz will readily answer any questions you may have.

The office is extremely clean, modern and welcoming. The front office staff (hi Tricia!) are professional, helpful and extremely friendly. If there is ever an issue, I can call Dr. Gorkowitz on his cell and get immediate attention.
