Really the best for wurst in NYC. I have tried many German establishments in NYC and this by far tops them all! The sausage tastes incredible and is authentic (I have spent a lot of time in Germany) great choices of style and heat level! Generous portion sizes, I left happy and sated after the sausage with fries. Oh and great to be able to sit at a bar and wash down with a German weissbier! Classic! Staff are friendly, fun and attentive! Great vibe and service. Definitely come here!

Really good currywursts and German beer. Try the Nuremberg currywurst. Quick, friendly service. One of my fav spots in Chelsea Market.

We had a delightful meal at this small German counter restaurant in the Chelsea Market specializing in wurst and french fries, with crispy sauerkraut and various condiments including a grainy hot mustard. Plus cool dry beer, and friendly and attentive service from a group of very busy cooks and servers. All in all, a wonderful alternative in an otherwise overcrowded Chelsea Market.

Ketchup sauce everything made in my German style not actual German shipped. Made in. Rollin big rip off buy a pack of sausages and bread you will enjoy

I had the currywurst, obviously. The sausage was great, and the sauce had just the right mix of flavors and spices. The fries were surprisingly good, enough to make up for them being out of pretzels the day I went.
Be warned, though: the portion size for the currywurst is quite small. If I hadn't gotten fries, I'd probably have had to go back for seconds.
