Yes! Moved here from Phoenix and thought we'd have to give up on great tacos in exchange for good bagels & pizza. Very happy to find Los Tacos No. 1. Tortillas: great, Carne: great, Horchata: yup, salsa: great! Only possible detractor could be the huge crowds of folks who don't understand how to communicate w/ staff and/or get out of the way once they have their food. Have to pace myself so I don't come back here too often and get worn out.

Delicious Authentic Mexican (get corn tortillas) that tastes like the best of the Tijuana street tacos and SoCal hole-in-the-wall Mexican.

They manage to deliver the only 4 things I ever need in Mexican food despite the small menu:

Perfectly seasoned and unadulterated carne asada with SoCal guac that comes standard, adobada (al pastor), a plain special quesadilla (an imperial valley exclusive), and perfect horchata.

These opinions are biased by a couple from Brawley and San Diego, used to walking across the border for an afternoon in Tijuana eating food on the way to Revolucion before crime and passports were part of going to TJ.

Authentic. Genuine. Been to legit taco shops all over Florida, Texas, and Mexico. This place is really good.

Taco or tostada with pork (adobado). Can't go wrong. Chicken is also good. Don't forget the Pico de Gallo.

Get the corn tacos! Tortillas made fresh constantly.
Great taco stand serving authentic tacos. If you are in the area this is a great option. The carne asada was my favorite and of course on corn, the authentic option. The horchata is good too. The line is long but it moves fast. The bigger problem is finding a spot to eat. Pricy but then again I'm used to small family run Mexican places in Texas and Florida where the best way to judge a place is to pick the most run down Mexican restaurant. And without fail that's where you find he best, most authentic food.

Los Tacos No. 1 is a great place to grab some tasty tacos. You order on the side, pay, grab your receipt and hand it to a person who will then make your tacos right in front of you. They have three sauces for self-serve and plastic cups to grab your sauces. Great for on the go.
