My husband and I enjoyed our two night stay. The Suites have a modern design with beautiful views of the city. Close to transportation and resturants. I would recommend this hotel to others.

NO ONE SHOULD STAY AT THIS HORRID EXCUSE FOR A MOTEL. WHOOPS HOTEL...

My Girlfriend took me here for my Christmas present for the weekend as a one night stay. We live on Long Island and often visit Manhattan but have never stayed in a hotel. This one came highly recommended by a friend of hers. We arrive at the hotel and it seems small (NYC not gonna really find much unless you stay at a chain.), there was a very small bar with room for 4 people at the bar and 6 people at the tiny tables. We didn't have a problem with any of this. Not until we got to the concierge desk... My GF booked us a suite with a kings size bed and paid Upwards of $700 for it ahead of time. We were told that they didn't have any suites do to a party that was going on that night and offered to refund her money for what I guess they considered a "deluxe room" Instead we were given a small room with a queen sized bed.

The walls were very thin... And by 'very thin' I mean you could hear everyone and everything in the hotel. I understand it is NYC and you'll hear traffic and nonsense like that. But I could hear the old couple next door pretty much whispering... And they were doing it purposely 'cause they noticed you could hear everything (the couple confessed the next day). The guests in the other room came and knocked on the door in the middle of night cause we fell asleep with the TV on and they kindly asked us to shut it due to the fact they had an infant next door (which we did). The A/C in the room was stuck on while it was 35 degrees out at night and after several complaints (where an engineer came up to unsuccessfully 'fix' it) we wore our coats to sleep.

She was extremely upset at one point and apologized to me for the uncomfortable stay. I didn't complain once to her. But it was very upsetting that she went through so much for us to have a nice weekend and apologized for it. There were some Pros though most of the staff was nice and informative, the view from the room was of Roosevelt Island which gave a nice sunrise in the morning. But aside form that the place was a nightmare.

The shower was horrid water was all over the floor. They had a European style to it which was half glass and half open... But it was dangerous in there my GF slipped and lucky caught her balance on me as I was walking by the open door. We did not have enough towels to soak up the water. At that point we were done packing to take our train to LI and were just too upset to get into it with the hotel staff. I have stayed at Motels in Boston that were 1/8 the price and gave you whatever you wanted. I DO NOT BELIEVE ANYONE SHOULD STAY HERE. The only reason this does not have one star is due to the bellhops and a few of the concierges. Some of them rolled their eyes at us... She spent $400+ on the room in the long run but it took 2 1/2 weeks for her to get the rest of her cash put back on her card from the original payment.

NO ONE SHOULD STAY AT THIS HOTEL FOR THE MONEY $120 IS WHAT THAT ROOM IS WORTH

If you are on business and need wifi forget it! Wifi was very spotty! Business center charges by the minute for internet usage. Many channels are very snowy and can't be viewed. There is no ice maker on the floors so you have to call the front desk and sometimes I would get ice in five minutes and sometimes it would never come! Had to call back and ask again! Cleaning lady never replenished our glasses In our room, never gave us hand and face towels. Other than those issues the hotel was very conveniently located for us to go to Cornell Hospital and very comfortable!

Front desk gentleman was very nice in helping us get our rooms. The rooms are a little small, but to be expected from a NYC hotel. Shower was strange as it didn't have a 2nd door to close, so it was open to the rest of the bathroom.

Overall, the hotel was clean and well kept.

I stayed at this hotel for one night and WILL not be returning! The rooms are nice and comfy but the staff is very rude. Me and my friend came from out of town to see my 3 college friends. They came up to our room to take us out to dinner and apparently either we were talking too loud or the music was loud because we supposedly received "an complaint" from the other room beside us. The front desk person called not to tell us to quiet down, but "if I see one more person come to your room, I will have NO problem calling the cops!" Are you serious? We don't even get a warning to lower the noise?! My friend (who is a guy) called back down to the front desk and ask "is there a problem?" The person at the front desk said "Well we have hospital patients staying here and we received a complaint about the noise." Ok one- NO ONE said that when we were checking in! That's something you tell your guest up front. Second- you never told us about the complaint or to quiet down. The next day when I checked out with my friend, I told the manager what happened and asked what was the procedure for a noise complaint. She said they usually give 3 warnings before they threatened to call the cops. I told her that is NOT what her staff did. She apologized again and offered to put me in a nice room the next time I'm in NYC. I explained if I don't feel safe because your hotel will call the cops on me and my friends why would I come back. She explained that is not a representation of the hotel and will call/ email me to discuss the issue further. I waited for her to call/ and email me and she didn't reach out. I finally emailed her 4 days after the incident and she replied saying "give me 24 hrs to look into the issue." Well 24 hours come and gone. I will never stay at this hotel again.
