I brought in my Chevy Equinox for its 3rd oil change. The service department is very efficient and values your time. My appointment was for 8am and I was out by 8:30. The staff provides you with the maintenance overview and requests your permission before replacing anything on the vehicle.
I would like to see a better waiting area in the future. The room is very small and does not cater to business needs such as internet access and tables. Aside from this, Beck's Chevy has been a wonderful place to purchase and service my vehicle. Can't wait to see what they will do for me on my next lease.

No good! I went there because my bluetooth system wasn't working and my navigation system was lagging. I left my car with them all day and when I returned the representative told me that my navigation was supposed to act like that and that he knew nothing about a Bluetooth system. He saw the frustration in my face and quickly grab one of his technician to look at the Bluetooth system. The tech was unable to fix it he said that they would have to bring a specialist in. Then the representative asked me what do I want to do and I told him I want to get my car fixed then he said okay I'll schedule you for Tuesday but unfortunately for him I won't be able to make that appointment because I'm going to Curry Chevrolet in Scarsdale.

I only went to this place because I had a complimentary maintenance certificate from GM (recieved in the mail) for an oil change/tire rotation/27 point inspection. I normally do routine maintenance myself. I spent more time waiting at the dealership than it would have taken me to do myself. They give you and "appointment" which is really just a day to come by, not a time, and it's not for your benefit, it's for theirs. It's "first come, first served" on that day, so if you don't show up at 7am when they open (I got there maybe 45 minutes after opening), you've got a ton of cars in front of you, plus whatever they didn't finish from the day before. I guess this is probalby in response to people making and cancelling appointments, or not showing up, or being late - and I understand that that is unacceptable and would cause them to lose money, paying techs to stand around and wait. But their solution, to make the customer stand around and wait, for inordinate amounts of time (3 plus hours for an oil change), with nothing to do in the area, no place to eat, and a very poor waiting area, is also unacceptable. My suggestion would be to run it similar to a doctor or dentist's office - offer appointments which are secured with a credit card and charge a no-show fee of $40 or so if you cancel with less than 24 hours notice. Totally reasonable. In exchange, they can offer a guarantee that work will begin on your vehicle within, say 30 minutes of your designated appointment time, assuming you showed up on time.

My other gripe about this place is the stereotypical creepy service guys that try to sell you something you don't need. They tested my battery and said that I needed a new one, and it would be something ridiculous, like $160 or so. I declined, and checked it when I got home - it needed a touch of water, which I added, and it's been fine for about a year now - yes, this service was about a year ago. Just reviewing it now because I got another one of those certificates and gave them a call to see if they started doing real appointments yet (they don't) - they're they closest one to my home. I'll be calling around to the others to find one that values their customers time enough to give a real appointment that benefits both parties.

This place is a joke they sell cars and won't even stand by them, the service people are liars and scammers and the sales department will downright try to steal your hard earned money. GM needs to drop this dealership ASAP!!!! But then again I guess thats why America buys foreign cars now. RJS is obviously an employee or the scamming owner himself!!!! Loser By the way I can afford any car in an american showroom jerkoff.

This dealership recently advertised job vacancies for auto sales people.

I was invited to the dealership and told I have a job and then invited to a three day training. After a whole day of so called 'training', it turns out that the person hiring does not work for the dealer and works for AUTOMAX sales training. Then it turns out that you have to pay 400 USD for the training and there is no guarantee of a job, although they only tell you well into the training when they have already wasted your time and given you a lot of hope that you got the job already (the sales trainer shook my hand and congratulated me on the job at least twice, and this is before I actually spoke to anyone from the dealer).

Basically this is a sales training scam that AUTOMAX does with dealers, and the dealer is in on it because they organize it on their premises. They are misleading and scamming money from the unemployed who are already in a bad financial situation and this dealer openly cooperated in this scam with AUTOMAX by falsely raising peoples hope of possibly getting a job. If you read about this training program on the net you will see that almost no one gets hired after the training.

In the end about 6 people stayed on and paid 400 USD, even though it's highly unlikely the dealer hired anyone in the end (its a small dealership and there were already at least 4 sales people already working there).

After I almost got scammed out of 400 USD and wasted 3 days that I could have been searching for jobs, I want to warn everyone STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALER!
