Good drinks and staff, and the food was close to delicious but everything was over salted. As in need to stop eating the curly fries because my fingers were burning salty.

Sweet Surprise!!
We came across Burger & Barrel after crossing Brooklyn Bridge by foot and looking for a particular place which we didn´t find... Lucky us! I ordered the BMC Burger, a dry-aged burger with tomato aioli, griddled onions and raclette cheese. I don´t know if this burger was the best of my life(after all, our taste keep changing and evolving everyday), but definetly the best of this trip in NYC and mine Top 5! I got suprised by its rich taste of simple ingredientes, well harmonized and present(recognizable). Got to return to enjoy the other good things about this place.

I made a reservation, but my friend was running late, so I ended checking in half an hour before she arrived. Nevertheless, B&B honored our reservation and we got our table immediately. Risotto croquettes are delicious and cheesy, even though the insides are not as molten as I expected. Rosemary tots are something you should really try. I got the Bash Style burger, medium rare. The meat was very juicy, and the toppings were very flavorful. Onion rings were not bad either. The burger was salty at times, but overall good. Unsure if it was worth the price though.
