The food here is quite good, and the staff is sassy and very Jersey! You have to be very patient to score a reservation, but if you manage to get a seat by the bar, you're in for a treat to people watch. It's very 'cozy' inside, meaning that it gets very crowded as there's not an ample dining room, so don't expect to have a private conversation necessarily.
The typical Italian dishes can be found, but if you happen to be there when it's prime rib pizzaole night, it is a must have! So steaky, garlicky, tomatoey... Don't pass it up!

You gotta be kidding me! 1st off, they do no take credit cards. Luckily we had just enough cash to pay as the sign was so small on front door. In other words, they are tax dodgers to start. 2nd, beyond overpriced. 3rd, food below average. 4th waitresses annoyingly flirty. Do I want bread?? Yes! For the fifth time!
So 2 pathetic plates $20.99 each. 2 glasses of house wine, plus.. oh wait.. TAX!! The balls to charge tax when you are dodging. $67.00!! Dominos would have been better.
Just saw that all the good reviews were from 1 to 7 years ago. I will report them to IRS for that debacle of a meal.

Wonderful place to eat, lots of fabulous dishes to choose from. Kind of weird that they only accept cash though.

Small and crowded restaurant. Good Italian/american even do I preffer a more tipical Italian is not a bad option. Make a reservation or be ready to wait probably on the street, is very small and loud. "dinner" style service. Only cash....really??

Best place in Hoboken...hands down! The food is excellent!!! The Owner is a total trip. She makes the experience all worth while. We don't even live in the area and have been going there once a month for 5 years now and still love it! It feels like home!!!
