Ripped up the old maxwells(great live music)to make room for another bar with sub par food

Went to a private event here that was set up tastefully. I enjoyed it. Fun fact - the bar is named after the old Maxwell House coffee factory that used to be in northern Hoboken.

No longer what it was. It used to be a cool bar/venue where band would play. Sometimes legendary acts, but that's gone. The name is the same (different owners), but now it's a pizza place....like Hoboken needed another one. I don't care if the pizza is good or not, just don't be misled by the name and the old history.
