Excellent Cuban food for breakfast lunch and dinner. I highly recommend this place for breakfast. On a Saturday/Sunday morning, this place is usually packed. The food is excellent. I have eaten the stuffed french toast (featured on that Bobby Flay show) and the Spinach and Plantain omelette, both were fantastic. The coffee is great too. Straight out of cuba! For dinner, the Ropa Vieja is delicious.
Definitely give this place a try if you can get in a get a seat. Make sure to put your name on the clipboard at the front.

Love La Isla! I used to live in Hoboken, NJ and would go to La Isla a couple times a week for breakfast / Lunch / Dinner. The cafe con leche is the BEST! Whenever I'm back in town, I stop by if I can.

Ordered food. They sent the wrong thing even though they had it right in the computer. Called them. They apologized said they would send it right out. 45 minutes later still nothing. Twenty minutes later called back and said they only have one driver. I explained I placed my original order 2 hours ago. Asked them to return my money and I'd return their food. Half an hour later still nothing. If you want LA Isla go to the one in maxwells. ( which we usually do) however they don't deliver which was the only reason we called the one on Washington. Their management should be ashamed of their customer service.

Not bad... Way too crowded and overrated though. Cucharamama/Zafra/Ultramarino's at 3rd and Willow have it beat.

Someone here actually said best "Cuban food". Wow. Couldn't stop laughing.
This is not even average for Hudson county. Had the churrasco and it was burnt....how do you ruin churrasco ? Chimichuri wasn't even Cuban.
Try las palmas & rumba cubano for real Cuban food
