Apple Store

Currently standing in store. Completely abandoned by the staff. No one uses name tags so I will describe him as the bearded white guy with bad comb over, glasses, and 3/4 mistake on left arm

This is my first experience at apple Roosevelt store. And I am pleased with the level of service and attention. I took my wife's iPhone 6 to fix the broken screen; and I was attend to promptly and speedily. We were promised our phone at 5 pm , and yes we did collected the iPhone on time. However , time to pay ...and of course I used my iPhone 6 Apple Pay Barclaycard with Apple Rewards to make my payment. Bad news ! I was surprised that my iPhone and Apple rep handheld device could not communicate , thus a struggle to get it to work , and finally with the assistance of another Apple Rep, it finally worked! Not good Apple !

The store is always packed so I refuse to go in. Then last week I was forced to go in to exchange a new phone. To my surprise, I was being helped within 2 minutes by the nicest guy (Peter). He did the exchange quickly & pissed me to another team member for set up. Everyone was fantastic. Kinda turned me into an Apple fan even though I have an Android phone.

We arrived at 10:15, did not wait a second without being helped. I was buying a MacBook Pro 15', they helped me so much with my investment. There was some problems with my credit card I was using for the purchase and they waited patiently and reassured me that this happens to everyone. There were some complications when it came to the set up of my new MacBook. They switched the laptop during set up 3 times to insure that I would not walk out of the store without a model working laptop. They gave me valuable knowledge in a timely manner which is all I could ask for when making this type of investment.

Have iPhone with bad battery. Looked up apple website and they have a recall for the battery. Went to store to get it fixed but they say if it doesn't turn on they can't replace the battery.

Does that make sense? ??.

I'm here just to replace a battery that is under warranty.

Wasted whole day.

Called apple support and they couldn't get the store to change battery so i have to mail to Apple.

Why do they call it a genius bar???
