This place is legit Japanese cuisine. The exterior in a strip mall is so unassuming but the food here is amazing. You won't find everything covered in spicy mayo (which I love!!) because it's that authentic.

They close in the middle of the day, but when my friend came to eat here we didn't get kicked out or anything. We had a great, leisurely meal. Come here if you want the real deal! :)

I went on a Sunday night and it wasn't busy. I ordered yakiudon and nigiri sushi set. My wife got seafood udon, eel rice and karaage(fried chicken) set. I wouldn't call it amazing but every item was good and above average. Eel is really good. Both sets were around $18. I'll definitely come back again. I agree with a previous reviewer that everything is slow - it seemed like there were only two people doing all the cooking and serving.

The restrooms are not the cleanest but okay. For those who have kids, they have high chairs and are pretty clean.
