Zwanger-Pesiri Radiology

X-rays were taken right away, but the older lady at the front desk had told me the doctor will read the X-ray in 15 minutes from now then 1 minute from now. About 45 minutes she is telling me that the Doc will look at them "soon" but it took another 20 minutes after that.

IF you have time to kill - most definitely go here. Had a 3pm appt for a sonogram. Had to drink and RETAIN lots of water for the test. So waiting around becomes increasingly uncomfortable. I understand a 15 or 20 minute delay - however, no one came out to see us until well after an hour. Two people went in before us who had checked in well AFTER us. When my wife went up to the receptionist to ask what the holdup was, we were told they were "emergencies" but one of those "emergencies" was laughing and texting on her phone while she was waiting. At this point I couldn't hold my urine any longer and my wife went up again and was told by the same receptionist that "she wasn't going to get into it" with her. Really? I thought your job was patient satisfaction. Did no one tell her that the way you diffuse this sort of situation is to apologize your lack of scheduling techniques. We were also told that one of the technicians had not come back from lunch yet. So how do you schedule so many patients at one time with no coverage. I know how -- $$$$$$$$ Do yourself a favor and go to South Shore Radiology in Rockville Centre - where the don't discriminate. That's where I should have gone in the first place.

Overall a very good experience...state of the art facility n what I like the most is I can get the doctor review the test on the spot,n not have to wait for a week to get the results from my own doctor ... Came back home with a piece of mind

It is amazing that an organization so large can run so perfectly. From the initial phone call to the report on the patient's online portal every member of the staff is flawless.
They are prompt, kind, and incredibly efficient.
I think we should use Zwanger-Pesiri's administration to run the country.

I didn't feel as though I was entering an imaging facility. Their building is absolutely beautiful. The waiting area is comfortable. Their associates are knowledgeable and friendly..don't mind if my doctor sends me an imaging RX!!! :-)
