I just walked in to buy $200 in gift certificates. You think I could get a little kindness and a smile since I just handed over a significant amount of "cash only". All I was met with was attitude and dirty looks even when greeting staff with a hello and a smile. Their food is great but seriously, f you zummies.

Excellent food. Excellent service. The staff is friendly and courteous. The best German food I've ever had!

One of the last authentic German Restaurant's not only in Queens but in NYC. Outlasted the rest because of it's incredibly faithful following of regulars. Bring your appetite because the portions are huge and the draft beer is second to none. The Goulash Soup, Jägerschnitzel, German sausages (Bratwurst, Knockwurst, Krainerwurst), home made potato salad and sauerkraut plus very fresh Hofbrau Original on Tap are all stand outs. We prefer sitting, relaxing and eating at the bar. Along with it's traditional German Rustic Decor, Bartenders Pat & Jerry make you feel like you're right at home. Love it.

Not a real German Restaurant.
The snitzel came cold. It had absolutely no presentation. The snitzel was paper thin and very much breaded.
On the other hand I give the vegetable a good rating.
The souercraut was good.
The snails was served on a potatoe. It gave it a potato taste. It was not hot serve.
No french fries or salad serve with the snitzel, everything is an extra.
I lived in Germany for 20 years. No comparison to real German restaurant.
I will not recommend anyone to eat at this place.
I'm sorry for the bad rating but I was not impressed.

Went on a Saturday afternoon, not crowded. Wait staff acted as though not sure they were happy to seat us. Had to wait about 25 min for waitress to take our order. Food came promptly. The sausage was good. Bread dry. Potato salad so-so. Highly over priced. Can not recommend it as either good value for price, or good experience.
