Love this food friendly staff

A bit on expensive side, but its worth it. Food wasn't the best i ever tasted, but it was up there. The seating outside is excellent. My wife, my friends and I were very pleased with experience. Definitely one of the best dining experiences on the island.

My husband decided to surprise me with a special dinner tonight, for Valentine's day.......this went so wrong so fast! We came in and were greater by a very nice hostess along with the manager, they brought us upstairs to our "romantic table", as we sat down I looked at the table which was FILLED WITH SMALL BUGS. The bugs were on our napkins, around the edges of our glasses, and on our plates. I called the waitress over and explained to her that we are here with our toddler and this is unsanitary, please move us to a different table. She rolled her eyes and said "oh it must be from the chandelier", umm I have chandeliers and they do not have bugs around them! Because I saw this was going nowhere we asked to be moved to another table (mind you the second floor was empty). The waitress said "I need to check if we have somewhere to move you to", ok, we get moved to another table, my husband asks the same waitress "do you have a children's menu or anything for children", her reply "Yeah, chicken nuggets and fries", he asks "if we order a regular meal can you divide it in the kitchen so we can share?", she looks at him and very nastily replies "you can do it yourself".....a minute later she asks "do you want tap sink water or sparkling water", my husband asks her if they have something on the menu her reply "I asked if you wanted tap or sparkling water, not about the menu, that can wait"....we both looked shockingly at each other, her attitude and abrupt way of speaking was so disgusting! We asked for another waitress, she says "well, it's just me", we ask for a manager, manager never came...we got up and left and nobody even approached us to find out what happened. I called from the car that same waitress picked up and said she was the manager, I said isn't the managers name "Oksana", she said well she is in the shower so if you want call back in an hour. This was the rudest, unprofessional service we have ever received, not to mention that it ruined our night, not just any night but a Valentine's day night! Thank God for good food and service at Fusciana in Brooklyn, took us right in last minute, gave us an amazing table and the food and service was top notch!!!!

I love this restaurant. Every single time I come here the food is excellent. The service is wonderful and friendly. I especially like the outdoor garden area.

Try the mussels, organic chicken, cassoulet and the list goes on.

Amazing food -- perfectly cooked scallops & flavorful duck. Everything was nicely presented, but not so fru-fru that you feel you're not actually getting any food. One of the best meals I've had in a long time! There were a lot of options on the menu that I would have loved to have tried. The outdoor patio area is beautiful, really nice atmosphere. Staff was friendly, attentive & helpful. Awesome way to get acquainted with Staten Island!
