The best hair cuts

Favorite place to have my hair cut! i have been going here for three years and have never been disappointed.

Very talented stylist hidden is this little place in East Village. Ben is my stylist and he has been doing my hair (color and cut) for over 5 years and never have I had any complaint on him. He is not a social active person, but if you talk to him, he will do a little chat with you (maybe not the first two times). This place is used to be called Zalon Plus Corporation and rename it to Zalon Corp. There is only one stylist with no assistant so it’s a one man show (Ben). You might think it’s a little weird but I am fine with this, especially when I referred him to my friends, they don’t have to worry about being sent to other stylist that is less professional. Believe me, he is a lot better than many high end hair salons that over charge you. For me, hair w/ medium length, a shampoo/cut and style cost $52 added $15 tips (sometime $20 depending on my mood). That is a lot less compares to the high-end salons that I used to go… Brand name but they usually sent you to someone that don’t know what they are doing!

Ive been going to Zalon for over 2 years now... its a small salon with two guys that are extremly talanted... Both are equally good... so dont be afraid to just walk in and sit with either... they actually listen to what your looking ofr in a cut.. or do what i do and sit down and tell them to just do what they feel.. But hands down great spot.
