Yesterday's Restaurant

Very good Italian food for the area. Salad bar has many options, even hot mussels in a red sauce. I order eggplant rollatini and it was very delicious. Only negative was waitress only came to table to take order, never asked if everything was OK, and didn't come back to refill drinks. Had to ask busboy for refills.

Will not be returning here anytime soon. Food was subpar, you can tell it was left under a heating lamp for a long time. Ordered chicken parm and it was filled with excess amounts of grease. Also, witnessed an older waitress be downright mean to busboy over cleaning off a table. Unacceptable for a quiet evening out. Assagini di Roma is better drive down 35 more.

As you drive down highway 35 you would never believe how beautiful this restaurant is on the inside. The salad bar has a decent variety of options along with 2 soups of the day and mussels marinara on tap. The entrees, while providing a wide array of options, are short of spectacular. Best part of my dinner was the homemade bread and soup , so once again it comes down to its salad bar.

Been here twice so far since I've found out about this little gem. The bar was a little crowded and the service as pretty good. They had some great TVs in there and I only wish there was a little more sound so my fiance' could listen to some of the game that was on. The bartenders were very nice and they were doing a good job in making sure my glass stayed full. I was with my fiance' and we had a few drinks and apps and the bill wasn't that bad. The next time, my fiance' took me there on a Saturday night and I actually sat in the dining room. The waitress was very quick and definitely knew what she was doing. I noticed that the service is top notch, even when its busy. The busboys were running around making sure the tables were clean and they also wrap your food for you, so you don't have to wrap it yourself. The staff seemed to be extremely nice and knew how to treat customers.

They also do banquets but I'm unsure of their prices.

Overall, great experience and great atmosphere. I enjoy their salad bar and my fiance' enjoys the mussels that they have in the salad bar as well. By the way, it all comes with your meal so it's a great value!
