Everyone makes mistakes and I'd be the first one to appreciate and be understanding of a well handled mistake. Unfortunately this valet service apparently makes a lot of mistakes, and handles them poorly. The first (and last) time I used the service I got "my" laundry back and half of it was someone else's and I was missing over $100 worth of clothes.. I literally paid money.. to throw my clothes away. Aside from washing the clothes, it seems like there's only one other thing to make sure of in this business, and that's not losing clothes. Laundry service is a huge business in Manhattan and it's embarrassing that almost all of the reviews on here are about this service losing stuff. I got a call that maybe they found my things. It was a bag full of someone else's clothes. So, in this single experience three people have lost their clothes. Then they offered me a $70 credit.. to use them again.. which was perfect because I really needed a laugh. The service itself was $30 mind you, which they didn't offer to refund me for.

I really like this place, I have been coming for a few months now and I am very satisfied with their job. They listen to what I need done and get it done. My clothing come back nicely pressed and clean. I called them to my house to get my carpet cleaned, my carpets were a mess, I didn't want to buy new carpeting so I thought I would try Wall Street Valet and I am glad I did. My carpets are spotless. Would definitely recommend to friends. Thank You Wall Street Valet!!!

DO NOT USE!!! I wish i had read teh reviews before dropping off my stufff. I used them years ago and everything was always good so i figured why not try them again since it is convienent. BIG MISTAKE. they lost my pants, held my entire order and didnt even tell me anything was missing. I have been trying to talk to teh "manager" for days with no luck. And the worst part is saturday when i went to ask where my pants were the woman behind the desk told me i had an attitude. Of course i do they lost my stuff! Never again will i use them.

I had a similar experience. Basically, I dropped off a sweater and then it never came back. I started inquiring about it and just got the runaround. So far, I've called either the desk or "management" six times and no one seems to know anything. The people in charge are "on vacation until next year", how convenient. To make matters worse, I accidently left something in the pocket of my sweater. When asking about that, the only answer I heard from all fronts was, "we don't check the pockets"... again, how convenient... Beware. (I'd give them zero stars if I could.)

I live in the building, and the very first time I used this service I dropped off 7 shirts. When I picked them up a few days later, I only received 6. I was told by the unfriendly woman at the counter that I was in the wrong and that I had only dropped off 6 . However, the next day I returned with my receipt that showed I had dropped off 7 shirts, to which the woman replied "that must be wrong, it says 6 in the computer." After days of complaining, the woman's "supervisor" admitted to me that they had indeed ruined my shirt in the cleaning process, and did not know how to handle the situation right away. Lying to me seemed to make the most sense to them, I suppose. It is now weeks after the fact, I have left 7 messages for the "supervisor", and have not yet been able to reach her to rectify the situation. This has been one of the most unethical, unprofessional, and deceitful establishments I have ever dealt with, and would not recommend to my worst enemy that he or she give them their dry cleaning. I would have left 0 stars, but was not allowed to so I settled for 1.
