Drinks: Excellent. Great and extensive wine selection.
Space: This is a very elegant, rustic and modern wine bar/restaurant. The bar is a marble rectangular counter making it great for mixing and mingling and is always packed. It's a great place to bring a date, impress your significant other or get-togethers. They also have outdoor dining available!
Scene: People watching. Romantic. Date night. Pickup scene. Singles scene. Girls night out.
Crowd: 30-50s Pick-up scene. Mostly professionals and locals.
Service: Excellent! The staff is very courteous, knowledgeable & professional.

Very good italian wine selection. the bartender/sommelier seems very quiet but know a lot when you ask questions. So do ask question without having him explain it.

If you are lucky enough to get a seat outside, then you will have a wonderful time at Wine and Roses. The inside is way too cramped for me. They have an extensive wine menu where you can order a glass, sit, and people watch to your hearts content. The food here is actually really good. Lots of hearty pastas and thin crust pizzas. Standout for us was the Swiss cheese fondue. The staff lets you sit at leisure and don't rush you to get up. This is a great place for a date or afternoon break with some friends.

A RIP OFF EVEN FOR BY CITY STANDARDS...IF YOU ARE GOING TO CHARGE $5 FOR AN 8OZ. COKE, YOU BETTER PUT MORE THAN FOUR UNDERSIZE SHRIMP AND A FEW LEAVES OF WILTED LETTUCE IN A $26 SHRIMP SALAD I MAY BE NEW TO THE HOOD, BUT NOT TO THE WORLD...I WILL NOT BE BACK...
