Horrible. Found cavities and just wants your money. Cleaning was ok but will never go back.

I live in Park Slope and needed a dentist desperately. I had a wisdom tooth that needed to come out immediately. However I am scared of going to the dentist. When I cam to Dr Trachtenberg I was put at ease. His bedside manner was just as good as his completely painless procedure. I was even able to watch my favorite movie while he was doing the procedure. Before I knew it he said "all done". Best Dental experience I ever had!

Brooklynshopper- July 25, 2011- Dr. Trachtenberg is a great dentist- I have been using him for years . He is skilled, painless, and very patient. I have recommended him to many friends and family members and they all say he is the best. The office is clean and modern and in a great location. The staff is very friendly. I highly recommend Dr Trachtenberg and the staff at Willoughby Dental

In this unassuming office works the best dentist I have ever encountered. Not only is Dr Trachtenberg an expert in his field, but he is also a helluva nice guy. Staff members are nice too. Not that anyone LIKES going to a dentist, but Dr Trachtenberg is a winner 100%

The central location and late hours make Willoughby Dental a fine choice for a simple check-up and cleaning, but I would not recommend them for anything more than that. The dentist found a cavity during my checkup and when I showed up for my filling, I was surprised to see that he was going to fill my cavity while simultaneously working on another patient. The other patient was in the same room as I was, the divider between us did nothing to hide her moans of pain, which was pretty unnerving. The dentist did a poor job with my filling-it was uneven and painful for over a month, although he did offer to sand it down without charging me or my insurance. With any medical procedure, no matter how minor, I think the patient deserves the undivided attention of their doctor, and I definitely didn't get that here! If you have to have dental work here, I would suggest making sure that you're the only one on the schedule!
