On Wednesday July 6th, my husband and I owi attended the matinee
showing of Cagney the Musical at the Westside theater. We loved the
play. The performers were super talented and the story was interesting.
The Westside theater is in an old church , not too small and quaint. We had a fun time and would love to see more plays at this theater.

Got enticed by the offer of "rush tickets" at $29 (versus the full price of $79). After waiting in line for half an hour with only 3 people in front of me, got to the box office only to discover that I must pay in cash. Is it 19th century? Just charge me $3 if you want and be done with it!
By the time I run around looking for a cash machine (which did charge me $3), the cheap tickets were gone. The full price tickets were available and, of course, you could pay by card. Or you could take a trip to TKTS Seaport where the same tickets were sold for $45 (and cards are accepted). This is what I did. But I spent my money on another theatre.

Just saw Cagney and LOVED LOVED IT!! The theatre is fabulous and quite intimate. You feel like you are part of the production. . .looking forward to seeing more productions at this theatre. Everyone should go!!
