I have been getting price gouged by Walgreens Pharmacy. In November 2014, I purchased a 90-day supply of 1 mg Finasteride tablets and was charged $204.97 by Walgreens. I recently went to Costco pharmacy and paid $27.16 for the same 90-day supply of the generic drug. It is outrageous that Walgreens charges $177.81, or 7.5 times, more than what this generic drug should cost for a 90-day supply. Over the course of a year, that amounts to being overcharged $711.24. Walgreens pricing is egregious and consumers should be aware of their unscrupulous business practices.
