A large group of us went there last Friday Feb. 20th for karaoke and some food. The karaoke DJ was the worst we ever experienced. First of all he is as old as his equipment, his song list was very minimal and closed minded; he still uses CDs (all of which are out of sync (as in, the music happens before the lyrics do, so it is very confusing) and he plays waaaaay too many songs in between singers so he can go smoke and talk to people, so the singers get bored and frustrated (why bother having karaoke if you're just going to play LAME music for 20 mins at a time in between singers?).
The DJ was grumpy, rude and dumb. We all picked theme songs and it would have been awesome to have us all sing one after the other, but he didn't "get it" and was p*ssed off when we tried to sing in order. Please God, just get a replacement; some traditions are meant to be broken; ended; replaced. It is a pity because with the right karaoke DJ, this place WOULD have been great. We were told that they juggle DJs but it is not worth the risk of showing up when the old fart is there; it is pointless. Seriously. Plus the waitress was lazy and dumb also, seriously, wtf? The bar tender was awesome so at least try to sit at the bar to get some civilization and courtesy.
