VERY UNPROFESSIONAL & DIS COURTEOUS DOES NOT RESPOND TO CALLS, ALL CALLS GO INTO VOICE MAIL THEY SHOULD IMPROVE ON THEIR HIRING OF THEIR REPS & STAFF

Chris IS THE WORST. Unfortunately he took advantage of the situation I was in (my mother dying a week later) and took what he could get.
He did not do a back ground check nor ask for references on my behalf. He just lists your apartment on craigslist of all places & just gets who he can gets. Promised me one tenant at a higher rate but they took a couple of days longer to get back to him and he immediately pounced on anyone else who was available even if it was at a lower rate. He really does not care about the your property. Classic bait & switch.
Not only that but doesn't tell me the new tenants had an animal until I see on the lease, hand scrawled in, "small pets ok". So many other things I could list on here but at this point what can you do. I'm just hoping to save others a hassle & sour experience. I wish I knew to look him up prior to giving him the listing but as I mentioned above that was not foremost on my mind. But after reading all the other bad reviews all I can do is nod my head & say "yep".

Chris Aivaliotis is a great guy. I met him back in 2011 when I rented my Astoria apartment. We needed to get out of Brooklyn fast since our place there was tiny and overpriced. Astoria was where we wanted to live all along and we found an apartment there through Craigslist.

We met Chris at the apartment. He was super professional and organized. We loved the apartment and the building. Price was about what we were paying for our old place but four times the space. We agreed to rent the place on the spot not wanting to pass up such a nice opportunity.

Chris and the landlord worked out the lease with us a few days later and we moved in the next month.

For the past three years, I've seen Chris every few months since he exclusively rents the apartments in our building and I always give an enthusiastic review of my building and of Chris to any prospective tenants.

Oh and his baby was born the day I signed my lease but he still dropped by to check on everything before rushing to the hospital.

He is a legit, honest guy. Maybe he doesn't pick up the phone for other people but I've never had a problem getting in touch with him.

Highly recommended. If he can't find you an apartment, no one can!
