love this place always does a great job

I have been doing my pedicure regularly at this Nail Salon every summer since the first year they opened.... I love the service, they are very good and they do it so good that it last longer than other nail salons!. Highly Recommended!

I live and work in the Tribeca/City Hall nabe and have been going to VIP regularly since 2004. This place is WONDERFUL. It's run by a by a mother and her two adult daughters. All the technicians are really friendly with the customers and with each other. The technicians don't perform their job somberly or speak to each other (in a foreign language) like so many other places. Many of the customers are regulars so there is a very friendly atmosphere as customers and technicians know each other by name. Most importantly, the skills of the technicians are first rate. I get manicure, pedicures, waxing and massages reqularly. I don't get complex nail services, but many do--gels, acrylics, etc, and the technitians are very good with those services (so say customers in the salon. Many comment that they only come to VIP because of the superior skills with such services.) I have no idea why other reviewers complain about the heat or lack thereof. I've never been uncomfortable there.

I love this nail salon .. I am very picky and never pleased with my nails no matter where i go . However Gina is the best she is attentive, patient , and she give you the most flawless mani & pedi ... I live in Westchester, NY but i work around the corner from VIP so it is very easy to get my nails done during lunch. My nail always look so good i have my friends from Westchester come all the way into the city for a mani & pedi At VIP.. All the ladies that work at VIP does a great Job , but i am so pleased with Gina i will not try anyone else !!!
