I held my birthday party at this restaurant. 14 guests, a late brunch, the restaurant was entirely empty except for us. I was stunned by how rude and unaccommodating the owner, Frank, was. We ran a $500+ tab. He should have been delighted to have us in his empty restaurant. Instead, he did not even want to set up tables or get us chairs. I will never spend another dime in this restaurant.

Good pre-dinner pickmeups / cocktails / great service / large windows that open for a street view

Awesome cocktails and a fantastic bartender-Thomas was his name I think. Never had a better Mad Cap in my life!

Cool little underground spot on upper east side. We had the butternut squash ravioli and roast chicken for lunch. Food was good, ravioli could do with a little less butter, but tasted delicious nonetheless. The jalepeno whipped potatoes are a nice touch with the chicken, which was cooked well and not dry at all. A little quiet in terms of ambience, but it was a holiday Monday lunch. Easy to walk past as its hidden behind 2nd ave construction. Service was very attentive, but it was just us two! Surprisingly, the latte was delicious for a bar! Prices in line with New York standard food/drink joint.
