Dr. Vad has a really intelligent and balanced approach to healing which includes only using surgery when it's truly truly needed - he's aware of the heavier and permanent costs that cutting often entails, and will prevent you from paying them if he can. When I emailed him to ask for a follow-up discussion so I could get more knowledgeable about my elbow, he replied by phone in an instant, and took all the time I needed. Very grateful.
