Vermella Lyndhurst

Worst experience ever I have a few months left and I wanted to upgrade to a 2 bedroom so that I can get a roommate and be able to afford my rent. I was told I need to pay another fee of one month. Also if I wanted to do an early termination I would have too pay a 2 month penalty which is bs. I only have 4 months left. They won't work with you at all and I try calling several times and no one ever answers the phone. I highly recommend no one to rent at this place. I wish I could go back and time and never sign any thing.

Awful. Half residents are section 8. Pool is disgusting. Can't use amentities bc of these ppl who pay 1/5th what u pay. They will also scam u wherever possible. I would stay very far away. Way too expensive for what u get.
Staff lies to your face. You'll get charges for random things. Looks nice, but everything about it awful! Ask any current resident who pays full price.

The staff sucks,Thor website is not updated , the manager is more concerned about his hair than potential tenants.They also pick and choose on who gets accepted and doesn't,they discriminate the list goes on .

I recently moved to Vermella Lyndhurst from Maryland, and I previously lived in South Carolina. Out of all of the apartment communities and states I've lived in, I have to say that I'm most impressed by this one! The office staff is very friendly, and understanding of residents' needs. The grounds are maintained nicely, the buildings are clean and beautiful, and the space in each apartment is well thought out. The other residents I've interacted with are friendly and welcoming, (which was a pleasant surprise based on New Jersey stereotypes!). The amenities are beautiful and always kept clean. My dog loves the dog park made of astro-turf. I feel comfortable, safe, and am very grateful we chose the Vermella to call home!

Absolute worst building. Built to look pretty but nothing works. Windows don't lock, drainage backs up, garage doors can be opened by pressing a button from the OUTSIDE (great security for a $100 spot every month!), staff are dumb as posts and the building has dead rats around it due to traps that aren't checked and/or emptied. Best thing my wife and I ever did was move out. Complete rip off for the amount of rent they charge.
