Verde on Smith

This place has a such brunch potential. The menu had lots of choices. There's a drunken brunch option for $17.95 for the lushes..The service and food were very efficient and fast. The portions were generous! My side of spinach was delicious and studded with golden bits of garlic. I loved the potato wedges on my steak and eggs. The steak was very tender, which is not always the case with hanger steak.

The disappointment was in the quality of the eggs and the bacon for brunch. Both tasted cheap. The bacon was tasteless. In this neighborhood people will pay for higher quality ingredients and I think Verde would do well to spend for organic eggs and good bacon.

Also, buy some real English Breakfast tea -- not decaffeinated for the real tea drinkers that come to your restaurant. Earl Grey doesn't count.

The food and the service are great. Is located in a very beautiful area in Brooklyn and is perfect for Italian food lovers.

I do not usually write reviews; nevertheless, this place deserves the time for it. I am a big fan of Italian-food because of the exquisite flavor; hence, I did my research regarding what place to visit and taste a truly-delicious Italian cuisine. For which I decided to go "Verde on Smith". The servers are utterly sweet in every possible way, the place is very comfortable, which is also family-friendly. Furthermore, if you like to drink some good cocktails while eating, then this is the perfect place to go, if you know what I mean :).
In terms of food, I thought I was going to be disappointing because of some bad reviews but I took the risk, and I went. Thanks GOD I decided to go, for I tried one of the BEST representations of Italian-cuisine in NY, for that reason I am 100% convinced to go back to that lovely place. By the way, if you really want to eat good, just go and I promise that you won't regret it. Have a wonderful day! I definitely recommend Verde! For friendly brunch with refreshing unlimited bellini, mimosas, and much more, or a nice cozy romantic dinner.. Great selection of wines, and delicious delicious food ;)

Love this place! If you wanna have a relaxing dinner with amazing Italian food or you just want to hang out with friends while having amazing oysters (they are surprisingly big and very fresh for this price, love it!) and glass of wine. If you have one of these reason I totally recommend you to visit Verde on Smith. Staff is very friendly, chef is the best! I'm in love with their seafood (seafood salad, lobster and baked clams were amazing!!!). Definitely gonna come back soon. Oh yeah, almost forgot to mention about $19 unlimited drinks for 2 hours on weekend! That's a really good deal!
