My wife and son and I recently visited Valentina's in Rahway on a Thursday night and we were the only ones there (from 6 to about 7:15). I don't understand why it's not more crowded. Interesting atmosphere; friendly, attentive service; outstanding menu selections; not overly expensive; and most of all, we all thought that the food was outstanding - good portions, and delicious. Also, the fact that it's BYOB keeps the bill total down. It was the first time we were there in close to a year; but, I'm sure we'll be going back a lot sooner than that.

Service was not all that awesome. The decor & experience was at best a confused Italian American restaurant wanna be sports bar. Food was ok, nothing fancy but clearly mostly frozen foods.

Been going here since they opened. So friendly and nice to my kids. Food is great with a large selection. Coming from a Brooklyn boy, that is a major compliment!!

I love Valentina's and I risk having to share this place with others by writing this review.
George and his staff are the friendliest and most charming people I've met. The family vibe makes this place a rarity.
The food is scrumptious. The Penne a la Vodka, the potato croquettes, and the chicken piccata are my favorite. However, you cannot beat the seafood. I never ate calamari, but I will eat here and only here.
To get great bang for your buck, come to the Sunday buffets. You get to experience the best of the best and for less than $13.
You'll thank me.
