They are not actually open on Sundays! I came here to mail an important package and they were closed when the hours indicate that they should be open from 7am - 6pm. I got there at 10am. Doors locked. Lights out. And the door doesn't actually have the hours of operation posted. Disappointed.

I work at a business open 7 days a week from 9am to 6pm. We have clients send overnight envelopes that are to be delivered on Saturdays and their mailman scans in and says we are not open. During the week overnight envelopes are scanned in at 11:35 am and not delivered till after 3pm. Our post office is on Canal St and the supervisor will not do anything about it! As of right now, i'm on hold waiting for the supervisors supervisor because she said it will get here when it gets here. So glad our clients paid for overnight Saturday morning delivery!

It's kinda weird to write a review for a post office, but an employee named Deng was helpful, kind, and made sure I got out of there without waiting in line. Wasn't expecting that from a post office, so now I'm like damn, today's pretty good.

This is by far the WORST customer service I have ever experienced! I shipped a priority mail package for $6.45. That is what they charged me at the counter. Then I receive the package the next day saying I short paid $1.30. Then the person at the counter charges me $1.30 and ships it for me.
I JUST RECEIVED THE SAME PACKAGE AGAIN! I'm shipping this package to a customer and explained the importance to the USPS woman. However, the package is now at my apartment and not with my customer.
I am furious! I will never again ship a package via USPS. I'm only using UPS or FedEx.

And they wonder why the USPS is bleeding money. I mean I don't think you could offer worse service is your tried. This is the problem with having employees that essentially can't be fired. When you know you are going to get your raise, and keep your job no matter how bad you suck at it, there is NO REASON to do a good job other than the fact you have decent character. clearly very very few people that work for the USPS have character. Working for the USPS is almost like getting welfare. Money for no work.
