US Post Office

The Carlstadt Postal office has just opened up last week, after being closed for more than a year due to an unfortunate fire . Since the reopening I have gone and will continue to go everyday to ship out packages. The employees that work there are always super friendly. I wish I can give them more stars!!

I live and have a business in town and have been dealing with this post office for over 20 years. I have NEVER had a bad experience there!! You crack me up bitching and moaning. Do everyone in Carlstadt a favor.......when you drive your junk, sorry i mean ebay product to that other post office out of town..........STAY THERE!!
I tell you what does annoy me about that post office........That a legit hard working business owner like myself, has to waste my time waiting in line behind someone claiming they are an "Ebay Seller" Here's some advice for you.......get a real job, become a productive member of society, and stay outta my way at the post office!!

I have to agree with the other person leaving the previous review. This specific post office has by far the worst customer service and it's mainly due to the lady at the front counter. I want everyone to know that Karen has a nasty attitude, is very unprofessional, rude and should not be allowed to assist customers at the front counter. I've patiently waited on line to be assisted with shipping my packages, being that it was my first time I had a few inquiries and she became bothered. I am an ebay seller, my goal and duty is to expedite buyer's packages so they recieve their items promptly as expected! I live only a block away from this post office so it would be convenient for me to ship but because of the poor customer service I am forced to drive over to the next town where their customer service is phenomenal! The people are courteous and helpful. It's upsetting that I have to take my business elsewhere specially when there is s post office literally down the block from me. I shall not rest until something is done and if I have to write a letter to headquarters to resolve this issue I will because someone does not know how to be polite and do their job!

Just about the worst Post Office I know, and mainly because of the woman working the counter. I can never get in and out quickly. And every time I go it seems I've done everything wrong. I'd take it personally except that I've stood on long lines in the tiny Post Office and she finds fault with everything and everyone. One time I had a birthday card I was mailing that played music. I figured out the postage online but I wanted to check and make sure it was enough. She told me that the card has to be flexible to go thru the mail, and then BENT THE MUSICAL CARD IN HALF! Another time she ripped open a package I was mailing because she said I didn't set it up correctly. I never have any problems with any other Post Office! The Post Office in Hasbrouck Heights is a little out of my way, but they are so nice compared to this grumpy old lady that it's worth the trip. I'm tried of being yelled at.

People talk all the time about how the United States Post Office is going to go out of business. After going to the Carlstadt Post Office I can't help but wonder if maybe it's all for the best.
