Haven't bought much here, but I used their locksmithing service to get a deadbolt installed and they were prompt, (high end of) reasonably priced, and professional.

I have lived in neighborhood for years, taking my business to several hardwares in the area...University has NEVER failed me. When the part is NOT available it will be ordered for the next day or another longer, reasonable amt. of time. Its worth the wait surely beating the bother of trucking around on one's own. Staff has ALWAYS BEEN HELPFUL, POLITE! FIFTY STARS!!!

Had an appointment with them and after calling to say that they would be late, they cancelled two minutes before they were supposed to be here. Also refused to give an estimate for a very simple job.
