United States Post Office - Throggs Neck Station

The worst post office experience ever!!! The second time I have sent a package from there and both times they lost my package. Then the workers are so disrespectful and lazy I can't believe why they don't have a self service window.

I was having an envelope shipped to Europe. The guy/clerk behind the counter gave me a price of $23. I responded with saying are you sure? That is way too much!!! I ended up leaving with not sending the envelope. Next day, I took the envelope to a different post office and I got a price of $13.50!!! This should not be possible!! I will not go back to this post-office! BE AWARE!!!

Terrible service! Sooo Rude and not helpful. The workers are truly incompetent. I shipped a package, 24 hours later, it is still not scanned for tracking. When I called, the person on the phone so short & rude, like I was interrupting her??!! As far as my postal carrier, I always get my neighbors mail, she cannot read the difference between our last names. When I confronted her, and asked her nicely, she rolled her eyes, and said whatever!! Really? Her loss, no holiday envelope for you! I cant believe they get away with this behavior, just because its a government job. No wonder USPS is cutting down!

Dear Throggs Neck Post Office,

You are horrendous!!! Completely 100% horrible. Your workers are nasty and lazy. I have now had to mail out invitations twice! People still are not receiving them. I have added extra postage because you claim an envelope that is 5.25" is too high! Besides the fact that this is absolutely ridiculous, I gave in and added the EXTRA 22 cents. I have already received one back because you marked the wrong side of the envelope when it went through the machine! Exactly how hard is it to put envelopes through a machine!?!?! Now only certain people are receiving the invites. How is it that 1 person in City Island, 1 person in Monroe and 1 person off bruckner blvd can receive it but someone off Pelham Parkway and people in Long Island are still waiting?? Do you people work at all!!??!?!?!?! You are horrible! This is why no one wants to do business with the post office anymore and you need to charge people 22 cents extra for a envelope that isnt over weight or over sized! PATHETIC! How about you all get off your asses and maybe do your jobs! I don't understand why these invitations cannot simply be delivered!!!?!??! And on time! SAD SAD SAD!

Every package that is shipped to me via UPS using "Sure Post", ( which means UPS and USPS are both making money), Gets "left at the front door". What a way to lose your hard earned money after purchasing products and expecting deliveries. They say " left at the front door" but they mean is, "too bad, you just lost your money and your merchandise." THE package WAS NOT LEFT AT FRONT DOOR.
After contacting them, both UPS and USPS told me to take it up with the sender to see if they will replace the items, not happening. Really ? so UPS and USPS are still making money, perhaps hoarding package for a "grab bag", I lose my product, the store still keeps my money and the UPS and USPS drivers still get paid. DOES ANY OF THIS MAKE SENSE????
