I really hope I never have to go anywhere else for surgery due to insurance. Union Surgery Center is just plain wonderful (SO much better than Middlesex if you have the option between the two). All of the staff I encountered are so great! The nurses are just amazing. They are so kind, caring, calming; with my 2 favorite nurses, it felt more like being taken care of by good friends rather than strangers. I went once every 2 weeks a few times and every staff member remembered me, which was a really nice feeling. You feel as though you're a person rather than just a number and that you are being taken care of because they truly care for your well being, not just because it's their job.
One of the nurses even gave me a talking to for not getting my thyroid problem checked out for a long time, very throughly explained why I should and what the risks of not doing so are. So, for the first time in years, I actually plan on going back to the doctor just because of her!

I truly cannot say enough great things about USC. If you have the choice, go here!
