Most painful routine cleaning experience ever-
I went in for a simple cleaning, walked out with some inflicted cuts, a chipped tooth, while my teeth are still yellow and hurt since yesterday.
The hygienist I had, Yelena, seemed nice at first, but turned out to be extremely aggressive and non-apologetic during my cleaning. She lacks finesse and with very rough bedside manners.
She aggressively scraped my teeth and gums and caused a lot of bleeding.... and eventually chipped the bottom edge of my top front tooth during that horrible process.
She wasn’t very understanding of the sharp pain that she kept causing by jabbing that dental pick tool into my gums. Never asked me to rinse my mouth filled with blood or if I was okay. I had to stop her a few times for a break as she kept jamming the sharp tool in my mouth. Also said I have bad gums and very bad buildup and need to come in for a deep cleaning –not the case, just another $$ scam as she also tried forcing unnecessary x-rays on me.
Reception was friendly, office location is convenient. However, their low quality dental skills, second-rate hygienists, and business scams is enough reason to avoid this mediocre clinic.
I will gladly go back to my caring dentist, Dr. Oro, and pay $200 out of pocket outside the union network.
I would not recommend this clinic.
