Enjoyed our visit here. Was very pleased with our meal. Try anything and everything!.. except the jellied pork... which unfortunately is as unappetizing as it sounds. Oh well, it was weird enough that I wanted to try it once. They have tango dances on certain nights in the back room.

- Terrible #148551
Food is average, decor is old, modern Ukrainian restaurants look much more attractive and cute.

The most negative impression is from stuff - does not welcome you, does not smile, looks tired and not tidy. Moreover, does not speak Russian which is nonsense for me as for a person from Zaporizhzhya, Ukraine, where 90% of people speak Russian only. Seems like this "restaurant" is for older people and from the West of Ukraine only.

For people who wants cool service and atmosphere I suggest Taras Bulba restaurant which is not far away, and for really tasty Ukrainian food - Cafe Kiev in Brooklyn.

- Very Good #148552
Food:
- HALUSKY With bryndza, sauerkraut, bacon, or tvarog - I got it with farmer cheese and bacon - a soft pasta like gnocci with cheese curds and very crispy bacon bits, tasty though it will be quite oily from the bacon

Service
- Friendly, but they seem understaffed

Ambiance:
- You have to enter the build and walk all the way to the back.
- The restaurant is recently sized and there is also a back room for events
- Nice decor - wood and (I assume) traditional plates from ukraine
- Pretty casual place
