Trinity is smaller than it may appear from the outside. While it's probably not the best place for an enormous party, it's a great environment for a few drinks with a friend or two. The bartenders are some of the best and most congenial I've ever met in New York, and the prices for craft beers and cocktails are reasonable. Finally, the clientele is less pretentious than at many of the other upper east side bars and the place has a dark, comfortable feel.

Great place. Out of towner? This is for you! The bartenders, especially Barry makes you feel like a regular within minutes. Friendly crowd. Two thumbs up no matter how you look at it.

"Dive bar?" Please. If you think this is a dive, you really haven't covered much territory in NYC. This is a clean place with a nice decor and the best bartenders in Manhattan. It does get a little noisy with the music, but then I'm not 25 anymore.
