Top One Laundromat

Perhaps under new management or just new staff. I was using drop off service for last 3 years then Suddenly started charging different prices when I dropped off clothes to when I picked up. Also yellow paint was all over my whites and the staff woman just shrugged and walked away when I pointed it out

It is clean, great machines and great service. The staff is nice and very helpfull. I don't know about the dry cleaning, but, I do use them for laundry and I like them a lot. Even if a lot of people show up to do their laundry, it doesn't feel crowded. Like the Speed Queen machines, they have all sizes. Their dryers are excellent. I am told that they also do pick up and delivery for laundry. Have not tried it yet.

I've had awful experiences with this establishment. The first time I went I watched the man at the counter sneakily mark up the weight on the clothing by I dropped off by 0.05 lbs so he could bump the price up a notch.

I was foolish enough to go back thinking that if I kept a close eye on him, this wouldn't happen. While he managed to write down the same weight that appeared on the scale (who knows if it was actually tared correctly), he tried to gouge me on the dry cleaning by charging me arbitrarily high prices (they have a scale or prices there rather than a set cost per item). When I asked him to explain why he was charging me so much, he agreed to lower the price. I thought he was being reasonable.

They checked my clothes as they accepted them, noticed a hole in my sweater and pointed it out to me. I said I still wanted it cleaned.

When I came to pick them up I was presented with my favorite dress shirt which had been completely ruined. The dyes had run and there were what looked like ironing marks across the upper back - like the iron had been too hot when it was pressed down. The man handed it back to me and told me that I had ruined the shirt and that it "wasn't his problem."

This place does not take pride or care about the quality of their work. They will overcharge you and take advantage of you. They will ruin your clothing and try to blame it on you. Walk another block to the next laundromat.
