I am a shade tree "mechanic" very hesitant to use a mechanic. on a friend's recommendation, I went to see Tom. Not only did I feel comfortable doing business with him, his entire staff of mechanics are professional but personable guys who talk WITH their customers. As long as I live in Bergen County, I will never go to another shop.

I HAVE A 1995 DODGE 2500 CONVERSION VAN
AND THE REAR END GEARS WENT BAD
TOM SERVICE CENTER THEY FIXED IT
IT WENT BAD AGAIN ABOUT 3 MOUNTS LATER
BUT TOM DID NOT TRY TO CONVINCE ME I DID ANYTHING WRONG
HE TOOK IT BACK IN AND
REBUILT IT AGAIN
AND THAT IMPRESSED ME
AND BECAUSE OF THAT NO ONE WORKS ON MY VAN BUT TOM
TOM SERVICE CENTER IS A GREAT VEHICLE MAINTENANCE SERVICE

Took my car in for an estimate. They told me it was going to cost $2200. Took it for a second opinion at another shop. The price? $1300. Why the difference? Because Tom's Service Center completely fabricated a problem my car never had. Always get a second opinion, and stay away from this shady "business."
