The Slaughtered Lamb Pub

It was very excited to check this place out, An American Werewolf In London is one of my favorite movies of all time. And the look inside did not disappoint. Although it looks nothing like the film bar on the inside they have done a nice job of creating a horror movie theme meets old English pub. I was a little upset to the see the menu has almost no Brittish pub fare. But what can you do? They had a nice selection of beer and the staff was very friendly. Overall I'd say it worth stopping off for a beer and/or you are a fan of the film it takes inspiration from............ And as always beware the full moon

Came here on a raining Wednesday afternoon so not exactly prime time but still had great service and the food was incredible, I would put the burger I had up their with one of the best if had! Plus just a great look and feel with the horror movie theme - definitely recommend!

the atmosphere was good. Unfortunately after waiting 30 minutes at the table I was still unnoticed by the waitress. Another sad deterrent was the horrible smell of rotten wood. I got out without ordering food in the end.

Really nice pub to go with some friends. The staff is very friendly, prices are ok and the scary theme is really interesting.

This was of my favorite places in Greenwich village, but it has declined over the years. They used to have a great menu of English Pub fare, and my favorite was their shepherd's pie. Once upon a time they even made their own beer; Full Moon Ale. But upon our last visit I was dismayed to discover that they've taken pretty much everything good off the menu, and are limited to mediocre burgers, wings, and cheap frozen appetizers. A sad turn.
