Discrete and different crowds change the tone of the scratcher from a quiet hang-out for neighborhood regulars to a rowdy NYU student spot

Dark and mysterious basement level bar - went early evening and it was quiet and friendly but soon became packed with after work locals. Would recommend.

Met with some former and current co-workers here to catch up and chat. The place was perfect. It was not crowded and you could hear yourself talking. Would definitely sit down and have a drink here anytime.
