Nice place with polite helpful staff.

Room was real nice, except you can hear the traffic from the window. Luckily traffic was minimal at night and didn't wake me.

Woke up to a tick crawling on me. Nothing like worrying about Lyme disease after a hotel stay. Manager refused to do anything.

This once-nice place has gone seriously downhill, as other reviewers have noted.

Poor security. Front desk agent, Shapor, gives keys out to rooms that don't belong to the people staying in those rooms. Then the operations manager, Sachin, refuses to admit anything is wrong with that. Last time I checked the common sense rule is that only someone staying and paying for a specific room should have access to that room unless otherwise noted by that person. One would also think an ID would be needed to prove that you are the person staying in the room if you need a key after you check-in, but I can tell you firsthand that is not how this hotel does their business. As long as you say you know the people staying in a room in which you want access to, the manager claims that it is not wrong for them to issue a key to the room "just to make things easier". Not a place I would ever recommend or stay at ever again.

We were looking for a hotel close to LIU Post and this was the closest. Little did we know what a gem this was. We stayed in a 2 queen bed room. It was extremely spacious and we loved the contemporary decor and the keuring in the room. The staff was so helpful and friendly. One of my favorite touches was the water dispenser in the lobby infused with lemon and mint. I am now addicted. The hot breakfast we good and there was a large selection. We live in Michigan so will need a place to stay over the next 4 years while our daughter attends LIU Post. We have already booked our next visit.
