The Pierre, A Taj Hotel, New York

We have stayed many times at the Pierre and have had many wonderful experiences.
The Pierre has a wonderful Director of Guest Services named Sanela Mrkulic. Before our arrival, we let Sanela know that last Saturday was our 28th wedding anniversary. On Saturday morning we took a long walk in Central Park. Upon returning we found champagne, a cake and flowers in our room along with a beautiful note from Sanela.
We felt incredibly special and that was the highlight of a glorious 4 day weekend at the Pierre. Upon arrival, we were assigned a beautiful suite with a lovely view of 61st street and a sliver of Central Park. Everything about our stay was outstanding including our room, the breakfasts and several wonderful restaurant recommendations form the first rate concierges including a fabulous Mediterranean restaurant at 10th and 52nd called Taboon. The staff at the Pierre is outstanding and everyone is very friendly, helpful and professional. It is truly a world class hotel. Thanks Sanela for creating such wonderful memories for us.

Easily the swankiest hotel I've stayed at. The staff caters to an upscale clientele, and their rooms have deep marble bathtubs, cushy beds, weighted product fridges, and so on. I was there for a wedding and they did a beautiful job.

My experience was lovely from the moment I walked in the door, I was greeted by a lovely warm and attentive face who made me feel welcome and at home. My experience has left me in awe at the overall high quality service I received as well as the wonderful meal that me and my family had at the attached Sirio restaurant. The food was incredible and the waitstaff made us feel like we had the whole restaurant to ourselves, even though they where noticeably busy. I highly recommend both the hotel and the wonderful food found within to both friends and family alike.

They've earned 5 stars. Great get away, impeccable service and accommodations. Expensive though.

The most wonderful hotel in all of New York City, for a taste of old style New York glamour there is nothing like coming here. Visit the bar for a quiet cocktail. Sirio recently opened up as their restaurant which has amazing food. Very Gatsby-ish.
