The Phantom Of The Opera

Liked the second act better than the first, maybe because i was a little drunk at the beginning. Had to buy 2 beers in order to pay with my credit card and then had to chug them down 10 min before the show started because i needed a spacial cup to take drinks up to my seat. Had a great time thought.

As a Phantom fan, I have to say that this performance did not disappoint. Performed with leads James Barbour and Ali Ewoldt, the musical numbers are well captured, and the scores very well played. While their voices may not be quite similar to those of the 25th cast, as die-hard fans may know, they nonetheless do a great job, making for a very entertaining and thrilling performance. The acting, set design, theatrics, etc. are all evocative of earlier Broadway performances of the Phantom, as they should be. The only complaint would be the sound, which was not an issue from orchestra seats, but can certainly affect the viewing experience from seats further away from the stage. Nonetheless, an incredible show!

I love the Phantom of the Opera and I was really excited to see it on Broadway. The musical is amazing and beautiful! I enjoyed every second of it and would definitely watch it again.
