The Milburn Hotel

Fantastic. They upgraded us to a suite, so we had two single beds in one room and a fold-out couch in the other, with a TV in each room.
Big rooms, a bathroom, and a kitchenette.
Breakfast included (cereal, bagels, bread, cake, fresh bananas and apples, boiled eggs).
Even on the second floor, street noise was just the occasional siren.
We booked through the hotel directly so there would be no reservation confusion.

What a wonderful gem this hotel is.....absolutely lovely, clean accommodations, décor superb, staff so helpful and polite, breakfast room so well run with excellent food presentation (real NY Bagels). Felt like I was coming home to a lovely apartment not to a small hotel room. I cannot imagine staying anywhere else when visiting NY!!

Great place, great location, affordable price for Manhattan. Room was spacious, comfortable, and very clean. Staff was also friendly and helpful.

The Milburn has become my "home" in New York. Perfectly situated in the middle of the Upper West Side, it is three blocks from the 72nd Street subway station, which takes you to Lincoln Center (should you decide not to walk), or take the express non-stop to Times Square and the theater district. There are several classic New York markets within a block of the hotel, which allows you to put the kitchenette to good use. And on cold days and evenings, the staff has a fire going in the comfortable lobby.

booked this place last minute for $300. stayed on the second floor. It was quiet. I love the place. Checking-in was a nice elegant lobby. The bed was extremely comfortable to the point where I did not want to leave! Unfortunately, we only stayed one night. It is a quiet, safe neighborhood surrounding many restaurants. It's very close to the metro as well as walking distance to Central Park. Will come back again!
