The Landings At Port Imperial Apartments

Friendly, responsive staff in a great location. Apartments are a little dated, but the price is right for the space. The balcony is a nice touch. I visited a couple of other buildings in the area that had a lot of amenities but what matters is that this felt most like home.

This is very convenient to NYC and any where else in New Jersey. Public transportation is limited to the ferry and NJ transit bus, but the ferry is reliable. The local ACME supermarket is convenient, but just ok. I go to Whole Foods or Trader Joes in Edgewater (quick drive from the Landings). I really like having Starbucks, Ben & Jerry's and Son Cubano within walking distance. The walkway next to the community along the water with the NYC skyline just across is breath taking.

A couple of neighbors are negligent but it's the same anywhere you live.

Great location close to shopping and restaurants. Also, NJ Transit and Ferry Shuttle Bus service right outside the door is a big plus! It's fun to get off the bus at the A&P, grab a few groceries for dinner, and walk home along the Hudson Waterfront Walkway. It is a short stroll with great views to wind down at the end of the day.

the ear splitting fire alarms go off around 2am every few months-it is horrible

...and her name was Lisa. Always with a smile and willing to help. Other than that, shoddy construction(exterior doors have draft and in the winter, you can freeze your butt off)(I heard everything the upstairs people were doing), the non-existent staff and the lack of ammenities just wasn't worth the price tag.

great place to live...but lets talk about the negative side...traffic choked up while
entering & exiting the area..plus the intersection of river road & the entrance ramp to the road that leads upto the lincoln tunnel is an eyesore & a litter dump
