The Kimberly Hotel

Nice spacious rooms for a New York Hotel. Beautiful lobby, great location, and helpful employees. Only annoyance was learning that WiFi was 13 dollars which is usually something most modern hotels just include, but great hotel.

Stayed one night (Friday night) in a deluxe one-bedroom suite, with a balcony, and an incredible view of New York at night.
The suite was just fantastic. The service, the restaurants, the suites, etc. are terrific. Closet space was amazing - very unusual to find such space
The entire staff could not have been more accommodating - from the doorman, to the front desk, to concierge, waiters, even the Sales Manager.
We had a fabulous dinner in BISTANGO on lobby level - the short rib pasta had been recommended, and it was a WOW, as well as the eggplant marinara -- appetizer of beet salad was incredible as well. Walked to our Broadway show, and when we got back to Kimberly, we went to UPSTAIRS. Hard to find words to describe the absolutely hopping bar scene, including an outdoor terrace with heaters. What a bunch of gorgeous people! Definitely a place to see and be seen.
Had buffet breakfast at UPSTAIRS the following morning - fresh and delicious.
All in all, a truly wonderful birthday celebration.

Awesome rooms, awesome stafc, but they charge for wifi....Its 2016, why isnt free wifi a staple of hospitality?

Our family stayed at the Kimberly December 2015. The Kimberly is located on the east side -- which we loved. Close to subway access, restaurants, and minutes walk from Grand Central/Times Square/Broadway, etc. We had a one bedroom suite which was equivalent to a one bedroom apartment. If you have a family you will definitely want to stay here. We felt safe and had plenty of space. No room is wasted in a spectacular hotel lobby entrance -- the space is added to the room size. I believe our room/suite was over 700 square feet and had a balcony. The hotel staff were all very kind and gracious to us, the furniture and bedding was luxurious. We are already planning our next trip to NYC at the Kimberly.

We love this hotel! Our second visit and the staff are so friendly and the same!!! The rooms are kept so clean and it's an enjoyable walk to Rockefeller Plaza and Central Park. I like the quiet road in front so it not do crazy. I love the lights out front in the flower pots and beautiful mums. Also the Bistingo restaurant is excellent!!!
