I have been going to Judaica house since they first opened in Teaneck, then moved to Englewood, and are now in their current location in Teaneck. I have always found them to be knowledgeable, friendly, and very helpful. Always a pleasure to come in, even when they are busy, to do business with them.

Do not rent an Israelphone. I rented a telephone with a voice and text only contract. After I returned it, I was told that I had used over 2 MG of data (with no evidence provided) and I would be charged $75 plus a $22 surcharge. I never once used the internet while in Israel. Israelphones apparently does not disable the data on the phone so as to charge $10 per day in extra fees. Be warned: even if you only use voice and text, Israel phones will pump data to your phone in order to charge you outrageous data fees.

The Judaica House is such a treasure! I was looking for a gift for my friend's son's Upsherin and found 2 perfect things. Shel Silverstein's "The Giving Tree" in Hebrew and a "Sholom Sesame" DVD on the Alef Bet, and they gift wrapped it at no charge. They have an amazing assortment of things for the everyday as well as future heirlooms.
